Carey Island

Carey Island, 20 kilometre away from the Klang town, was first planted with coffee tree during British rule but now turned into an oil palm estate.

Currently, the Mah Meri native tribe still occupies the land. Althrough they now lead a modern life many still retain their unique traditional cultures.

Tourist get to experience the tribe’s traditional dance and musical performance and their extraordinarily fine wood carvings and other hadicrafts.
